The art of fresh pasta making starts at home, on the kitchen table. Learning to cook in the home of a real local Sfoglina is a wonderful way to learn about true Bolognese tradition. The Sfogline are traditionally the women who used to roll out puff pastry with a rolling pin to cook dishes for their families.
In this Bolognese cooking class, you will learn how to make real sfoglia, the fresh egg pasta typical of Bologna. Try your hand at dishes like the iconic Bolognese sauce for your tagliatelle. Learn how to prepare local recipes and discover the secrets of regional cuisine. After the class, you can have lunch and/or dinner tasting the fruits of your labour accompanied by local wines, directly at the Sfoglina’s house.
